An admin mistakenly moved this topic wrongly to tech support. It’s not a tech problem, only a general question for users that know the answer. A tech support person would not be able to answer this. The original question below:

The older versions of X-plane used to have a “GPS” or “LNAV” button available in Plane Maker. If you engaged it after you selected the GPS navigation mode and put in a course in your GPS, the plane would follow the GPS course from then on if you pushed the Lnav or GPS button. But there are no lateral nav button available in Plane Maker any more!! How are you supposed to get a plane to follow a GPS or Flight Computer??

He is a video of my hardware so far. yes I know the tach isn’t supposed to be in the lower left. I am doing the hardware for the turn coordinator now.

Basic overview is as such… X-plane plugin grabs and formats the datarefs I need. Sends them over USB HID to my PIC 18F based driver boards. Driver board controls either servos, stepper motors, or aircores. I plan on doing both VORs as well but will need to design another driver board to decode the resolver in the VOR.
