LP stands for Low Profile and these new tires are designed with a lower sidewall for more direct response and higher cornering speeds. Developed through long and extensive testing, they are offered in 3 different tread designs, Kamikaze, Suicide and Harakiri with different compound hardness suitable for any racing conditions.

LRP 4800 40C Saddle & 1600 RX packs

LRP is now offering a new LRP Hard case 4800mAh ‘Competition Car Line’ pack with upgraded 40C discharge rate. This new saddle pack is developed to deliver big power combined with long run time and is mounted in a durable hard case to keep the cells from being damaged during use. Also new from the German company are 2 new 1600mAh RX-packs that feature higher capacity and allow an extended run time. The voltage is significantly higher compared to the previous 1400 RX batteries and they offer significantly higher power for the servo. Available in flat and hump pack versions.

PSM Racing Hyper 9 Brake disc

PSM Racing have created this new epoxy material brake disc for the Hobao Hyper 9. Made from high grade 4mm thick fibre glass (epoxy), it is lightweight and heat resistant and claims to provide better brake performance. A direct replacement for the standard brake disc, it is recommended to use blank brake pads with these new discs.

Hudy Flywheel/wheel nut tool

Hudy have announced the release of this flywheel holder/wheel nut tool for 1/8 off-road buggy & truggy. CNC-machined from premium Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium, the lightweight design ensures the tool is super light while still ergonomic for comfortable holding and maximum grip. The tool is hard coated and additionally black coated using the world’s most modern fully-automatic, robot-operated hard coating line to ensure the highest quality. The Flywheel Holder works with all modern RC nitro car flywheels with 2, 3, and 4-pin designs, while the other side of the tool was specially developed to work on 17mm wheel nuts in dirty and abusive conditions.

Mugen MBX-6 & 6T Shock springs

Following from the earlier release of new shock towers for their MBX-6T, Mugen Seiki have released some new shock springs for both the MBX-6 and MBX-6T. The new rear springs add two more options to the current range of springs, with the new springs harder than previous versions, featuring 9.75 and 9.5 turns.

Sweep Racing continues to grow

Korean based tire manufacturer Sweep Racing continues to expand with the upcoming release of many new products including 1/5 scale tires, new touring car inserts and high traction tires, mini wheels & tires, 1/8th and 1/10th buggy tires and even body shells. The recent appointment of Mr. Ryan Lee (above right), who had previously worked at Muchmore Racing as their Team Manager as well as in Sales, R&D and Design, will strengthen the team at Sweep Racing. Sweep owner, Mr. Kong Seok-in, personally developed all current Sweep Racing products and has many years experience working with tires for R/C use. Available worldwide,  supply to the domestic (Korean) market will commence in late October.
