Alienpower Raptor 8BB RTR brushless buggy
Alienpower have announced the release of their new Raptor 8BB RTR brushless buggy. This 1/8th scale chassis features a newly designed C-hub steering system that has the king pin axis extend to the wheel center which claims to improve steering performance. There is also a newly developed suspension system with twin adjustable rear suspension modes for flexible driving mode & smooth driving mode, while the car’s narrow solid aluminium chassis has a centralized design for quicker steering and faster response. Supplied with 16mm big bore shocks, the car has a an optional mechanical brake for accurate braking and better control in the air.

European Pan Series – Announcement
The organisers of the Xceed backed European Pan Series, Markus Mobers from Germany & Vesa Yli from Finland, were in contact to announce their new 1/12th scale series. Created to promote racing with pan type cars, this series hopes to allow this category grow bigger and stronger and is a response to the growing popularity of the 1/12 scale class together with its bigger brother World GT. The 2009/10 EPS series kicks of in Germany in October (2-4), before moving to Belgium in November for round 2 and finally to Holland for the season finale in January 2010. The final race of the Belgian Electro season was held at the beautiful ‘De Baanbrekers’ track in Rucphen. In the EFRA class the Champion Olivier Bultynck had already been crowned last race but everything was still possible for the third place. Following qualification, it was Nick Joosens who took the pole in front of Thomas Stockman and on third place Olivier Bultynck. The first final saw a very nice battle between the three first drivers on the grid, Nick Joosens was very fast on this nice track and took the win in front of Olivier Bultynck and Thomas Stockman. In the second final it was Thomas Stockman who attacked very strong on leader Nick Joosens and could take the lead after Nick made a mistake. Meanwhile it was Manuel Henriet who took second place in front of Olivier Bultynck. The third final would be a hard battle, everything was still open and from the start it was again Thomas Stockman who attacked Nick Joosens and took the lead in front of Olivier Bultynck with Nick dropping back to third spot. Thomas Stockman would hold on for the win and Nick Joosens recovering to second in front of Olivier Bultynck. Thomas Stockman became the overall winner, TQ Nick Joosens was second and the new Champion 2009 Olivier Bultynck took the third step on the podium.
In the Superstock class the Championship had still everything to play for. After the qualification, it was Geoffrey Vekemans who was TQ in front of Stephan Roufosse and Nick Logie. From those three drivers one would become the new Champion. In the first final Geoffrey Vekemans took the lead and was very fast, no mistakes, and took the win. Nick Logie was a little bit nervous and made a mistake and so Stephan Roufosse came in second and a very fast Olivier Riffon in third place. The second final was no as easy for Geoffrey Vekemans and had Nick Logie pressuring him till the finish. Geoffrey managed to stay in front and took the win in front of Nick and Stephan Roufosse. The third final was a big battle between the three opponents, Geoffrey, Stephan and Nick and were always only one second apart, but it was Geoffrey who ended a splendid race as winner in front of Stephan and Nick. With this win Geoffrey Vekemans became the new 2009 Champion in the Superstock.
