Protoform R5-N body - Sneak Peek

We were sent us a sneak peek photo of the latest project in the works at Protoform, the R5-N Sedan body. This new 200mm body is expected to have some design features never before seen on a lexan sedan body. We believe it is scheduled to be released in a few weeks.

Much More have released their new 1500mAh 6.6V 15C LiFE battery 1500mAh. Do to its voltage this hump size receiver pack can be used without a regulator and fits perfectly in most 1/8th scale cars that can handle this configuration of pack. Supplied with the commonly used Futaba/JR 2pin connector with XH2.5 balancing plug. LiFE has no memory effects, can be charged days or weeks in advance of use and does not require complete discharging before charge.

Chris Tosolini joins Capricorn RC

Designed by renowned engine expert Adrien Bertin with feedback from Losi driver Mike Truhe, the Team Orion CRF .21 Mike Truhe Edition motor delivers the ultimate combination of speed, torque and fuel economy. This high-performance competition-level engine for 1/8-scale buggies and truggies features a patented CRF crankshaft, a 5-port ABC piston and cylinder, a custom-machined and lightened cylinder head, an aluminum twin-needle, a slide-valve carburetor with replaceable venturi inserts and an aerospace-quality ceramic rear bearing.

Audi A5 200mm from Shepherd

As with SMI and Serpent, the high quality Audi A5 200mm touring car body is now available from Shepherd Micro Racing. It offers excellent steering combined with a well-balanced overall handling and was recently used by 10 of 10 finalists at the German National Championship. It also fits perfectly to the soon to be release Shepherd Velox V10. A seperate rear wing, winglets, Audi decals and window masking tape are included.

To celebrate the winning of his ninth World title, Novarossi have released this exact replica of Lamberto Collari’s 2009 World Championship winning engine, the 35 PLUS 21 LC/WC09 Limited Edition. This engines has some new features that have not been seen before such as the crankshaft that has been made from a solid bar of high quality steel to make it as stiff and durable as possible and the total length of the crankshaft has been increased to improve the working of the various competition clutches available today. Supplied  with the latest evolution of the famous and nearly indestructible R7 type conrod and a high grade ceramic rear ball bearing, these ceramic balls are matched on their size by laser measuring and then later mounted in specially made steel bearing races to obtain the lowest possible friction and wear. The unique gold coloured cooling head features precisely lasered artwork to commemorate the engine that gave the Italian company its 10th 1:8 On-road World Championship title. It is not only the cooling head that got the celebrating touch, the crankcase has also been etched. There will only be 550 numbered engines made and they are available for EUR 550,00.
