The JMRCA Japanese Touring car nationals for Sport class took place this weekend at the Indoor Yatabe Arena. With 105 drivers in attendance, this is a very competitive class and it was Shinnosuke Ogino that took the pole position with a perfect score of 6 first places from 6 qualifying rounds, with Kutsuna Zyuniti in 2nd ad Muta Hironari in 3rd. In the finals it was Kutsuna that opened with a win as the pole man had a bad race and ended the leg in 9th. In the 2nd leg it was female racer Winter Toki that took the win from 8th on the grid, with Ogino claiming a 2nd spot and keeping his hopes of the overall win alive. In the final leg Ogino went one better and took the win to seal the title from Toki in 2nd, who had the same points but lost on a tie break, with Hironari claiming 3rd.

Acorn Racing 12V DC power supply
Acorn Racing has just sent us a sneak preview of their new prototype 12V DC power supply. This prototype was said to go through 5 design changes before the confirmation of this current piece. The digital meter on the face shows the total amperage that connected equipment is drawing and it has 2 standard outputs compared to the single output that is normally seen in the market. This power supply comes with a reverse polarity protection and it is said to be strong enough to power a tyre truer for the 1/8 scale. ABS material was chosen for the casing over anodized aluminium due to the scratch resistance nature. Expect more information following its official in December.
